At Exist, I work on AI search and financial data. Outside work, I’ve launched Snowball, Mayi, and Asenso on the App Store.
Engineering / 01
I built a production AI search system that handles more than 1,000 queries a day.
I used LangGraph, AWS Bedrock, pgvector, and BM25 for hybrid retrieval, then improved answers through evaluation and prompt iteration.
Engineering / 02
I cut daily compliance reporting from 4 hours to 15 minutes.
I consolidated agency and bancassurance data, optimized SQL models and Power BI datasets, and rebuilt preprocessing with Dask.
Independent product / 03
I designed and launched a one-task-at-a-time app that reached #1 in the Philippines App Store’s Paid Productivity category.
I handled the design, development, and launch myself. Snowball gives you one task to focus on at a time.
Independent product / 04
We developed and launched a travel app that reached #1 in the Philippines App Store’s Paid Travel category.
We built Mayi together and launched it on the App Store, where it reached the top of Paid Travel shortly after launch.
Independent product / 05
I designed, branded, and built a financial simulation game that reached the top 5 in the Philippines App Store’s Paid Games category.
I made Asenso to let players practice money decisions through a game.
Recognition
Our team reached the Top 30 out of more than 250 teams in the national eGovPH Hackathon.
